BALATEX bookbinding covers are specially prepared fabrics for book production. Most of the series are made on a paper backing to facilitate the bookbinding process and the handling of the fabrics. Bookbinding cloths are a classic due to their appearance, style, and quality. These products are frequently used in bookbinding and find applications in the production of books, photo albums, exclusive packaging, menu cards, and other bookbinding products.

Our bookbinding cloths, such as Imperial, Savanna, Mondial, Tulsa, RAW or Ottawa, are made from various fabrics (cotton, viscose, artificial silk) and are appropriately prepared for the type of product and its recipients. All series are available in different colors, which can be viewed in our catalogs. It is also important to note that for foil stamping, special series of foils for fabrics should be used, as universal foils often do not work well. The foils that work well on bookbinding canvases include Kurz Luxor/Alufin AF/AS, Profoil 1300. For printing book covers, the best solution is UV printing or screen printing.
