The strongest solution for stucking the book block

Mull, bookbinding gauze, grammage 75 gsm, used to stuck onto a block spine.

A material, fabric made from 100% cotton fiber with a very rare weave, that seems to look like a bandage. Material covered with an animal-glue used commonly in bookbinding to make material more stiff and to avoid shredding and stretching. A mull is used in a classical bookbinding to be stucked onto a book spine what allows to reinforce the strength of endpaper where the cover is being opened. In the modern solutions a mull has been replaced by a crepe paper or shirting soft. Material sold in rolls with widths adapted to customer’s individual needs.
